This is a great local restaurant, and the service and food are very consistent. Their seating is mostly booths, and they are nice and comfortable. Their menu is pretty diverse, so you can take anyone there and they will find something they like. I like their chicken salad, steaks, and pasta, which are dishes I have tried. The servers are always friendly, and the food service is pretty prompt once you order. A great place to take people that are new to Battle Creek.

After being away for a while, we ventured in to check out the "new" Finleys, looking forward to the BBQ from the "smokehouse". The menu says the believe they have the best BBQ in the area... I would argue otherwise. The brisket was super dry, the pulled pork was mush and the sides were barely warm. Seemed like it had sat a long time and was reheated. Overall, not good. If you're after BBQ, check out OTs... Sorry, had to take Redline out of the equation. On the bright side, they do have an outstanding selection of Michigan beers on tap.

I have always gone here since I was a kid. I love their bread and how they are always adding different things to the menu. I love their 5 cheese mac and cheese!

Call ahead is not respected. No bar knowledge: how do you serve a whiskey straight? Meal took 38 minutes b/c of large party. Food was cold. Had to ask for sauces and broccoli. No bread pudding.

We'd give this place 6 stars if we could! Great service! Our server's favorite was the smoked turkey so we tried it. We were not disappointed! Delicious! They also have 25 Michigan beers on tap to complement their fantastic BBQ. Our server answered all my questions to help me pick just the right one for me. Wish we had room for one of their tempting desserts :). Awesome place! Try it! You won't be disappointed either!!

Food has always been good here, the menu is very limited which makes us not go there often. Staff is always nice and it's in a good location.

Roadhouse sirloin was cooked correctly but was very tough and stringy throughout. Another in party had Kansas City Sirloin and it had the same problem. The other three in our group didn't have steak and said their meals were good. Service was excellent. Definately wouldn't order steak here.

One of my favorite restaurants in Battle Creek! There are so many things I like to eat. These are my favorites: blue cheese dressing for the salad, the warm bread, Michigan Chicken Cherry Salad, American Sampler, Chicken Hawaiian or just a steak! The basic house red cabernet is pretty good, too. Looking forward to another visit when I'm in town. The service is always excellent. Many of the servers have been there for 10 years, even 20+ years! I know because I've been going there that long myself!

This is the best restaurant in Battle Creek. Hands down. Great lunch..cheap, fast, and delicious! I recommend the NY Beef & Cheddar, the fries are excellent..ask for a side of ranch and prepare to be amazed! Lots of great dinner options, too. Steak, seafood, the works. Also, there is NO better deal on drinks..they do a 3-2-1 special all the time. That's $3 wine, $2 cocktails, $1 beer. WHAT!? This place cannot be beat! And they have a patio and open late, even 10pm on Sundays. Add on the consistently excellent service (Belle is THE BOMB) and you are a darned fool to eat anywhere else in town!!!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
